these terms are between you and jess, trading as standups & snacktime, a registered business in new south wales, australia.
free stuff
the templates, guides and posts on this site are free for your own personal and work use. share the link, not the file.
free doesn't mean up for grabs. they're still mine, and copyright still applies. if you resell them, rebrand them, put them behind your own paywall or pass them off as your own work, i'll ask you to take them down. if you don't, i'll file takedown requests with your host, the platform and the store you're selling them on.
receipts, the paid guide
- it's for you. your purchase is a personal license for one person. please don't share your key, the guide's pages, or copies of it.
- your key works on up to 3 browsers, so you can use your laptop and phone. if you hit the limit, email me and i'll reset it.
- updates are included. new versions of receipts (v1.x) are included for as long as i offer the guide.
- the workbook is yours to keep. you make your own copy, and what you write in it belongs to you.
- if a key is shared or resold, i can turn it off.
- sales are final, as covered on the refunds page.
real examples
the before-and-after examples are real, with company names and details changed so nobody can be identified.
no guarantees
i'll give you my best thinking from about 15 years in tech operations and a lot of hiring. i can't promise a job, promotion or raise, because that depends on things neither of us controls. nothing here is legal, financial or immigration advice.
my work
everything on this site, including the words, design, illustration and receipts, belongs to me. you're welcome to quote a line with credit and a link.
the boring but necessary bit
to the extent the law allows, i'm not liable for indirect losses from using the site or the guide, and my total liability is limited to what you paid me. this doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law. these terms are governed by the laws of new south wales, australia.
